Map of apartment
The house "LivingVenice"
(85
square metres) is
a building dated from 15th century just in the centre of one of the most
beautiful and enchanting places in Venice: the area of "Dorsoduro".
The house, lived in ancient times by local fishermen, called "Nicolotti",
then by masters of textile craft, has an independent entrance, that's
a strange particular in a venetian house.
The apartment is situated at the first floor; on the ground one there
is the studio of a famous painter.
All the apartment's floors are made of original "terrazzo veneziano".
The living room, with an ancient fireplace, (you cannot utilize it), looks
out an the Corte Mazor, an old "corte" with, in the centre,
the typical "vera da pozzo".
Also from the double bedroom you can admire the "corte".
From
the sunny and habitable kitchen, where some years ago an old semicircular
arch was found out and actually it's still mantained (maybe it was an
ancient door) you can see a typical canal "rio" and on the right,
a convent built in 14th century, the convent of "Terese".
All the furnishings inside the house are in balance between functionality
and style.
There is TV SAT, HiFi, microwave, coffee maker, washing machine,
small bed for baby.
